So who am I? Well okay, here goes. My name is Stefan Morrison, a multi-disciplined graphic designer and accomplished creative thinker. I’ve a keen eye for detail, strong technical ability with an enthusiasm for photography and a particular interest in branding and typography.
With over eight years industry experience I have worked on a large variety of projects for numerous organisations at local, national and global levels. Both as an internal resource committed to the delivery of brand and business objectives, and as an external supplier, partnering to successfully produce campaign material throughout numerous cultures across a range of media.
Generally my approach is simple, by using a mix of creative skill and commercial awareness, I produce functional graphic design material that not only impresses clients but engages with their audience. I also appreciate that creative is an integral part of marketing, allowing you to communicate in an effective and meaningful way.
Therefore, I work to closely assist throughout this process and have experience in successfully bringing products and services to market together with the launch of new identities/re-brand strategies across many sectors, including; property, finance, retail, transport and energy together with charity organisations. All whilst adding value with my strong understanding of print and new media and contributing additional skills of art direction and project management.
I’m a social, hard working person who loves lists, taking in new places, doodling with a good pen, discovering music, quoting movies, building Lego with my Nephew/getting cuddles from my Niece and spending time with my dog Mac.
I find it exciting pouring all my energy into the projects I undertake (I’m addicted to that giddy ‘buzz’ from delivering a result and meeting the deadline), however I’m an easy-going chap guilty of laughing at my own jokes and remaining good humoured in demanding situations. I have a strong desire to continuously improve, enjoy learning and sharing new creative techniques in order to develop my skill-set and tastefully integrate into the creative. Take sugar in my tea, make a great coffee and love the beauty of life such as a well deserved beer garden, crunching autumn leaves and an ice-cream in the sun.
