Personal Branding

Hot off the press

It’s been a busy month but having just collected my portfolio booklets, I thought I’d post some thoughts on the process I followed to create these, and remember if you’d like your very own collectors copy please contact me…I’ll even throw in a free business card! 🙂

SM Booklet

  • Consider your vision – Just like how businesses create vision statements, you need to create one for you. This will help lay the ground work for what you want to communicate and help maintain your focus.
  • Be consist – Although you’ll have a wide array of interests and talents, you need to pull out all the elements of your personality, your experience and skills and bring them together in one cohesive place.
  • Be yourself – Remember, be confident and let your creativity and style shine through.
  • Leave them wanting more – Don’t overburden the reader with a visual mish-mash. You need to showcase yourself, your skills and create the impression you want but in a definitive and efficient manner.

As this is far from an easy task (and a never ending one), please visit again as I’ll be posting more insights (see, what a tease!) and you can view samples of my work here.

It’s alive!

Hurrah!

It’s here. After much development, deliberation and tweaking, I can now say welcome to my website and blog. Here I’ll write words, post snapshots of what I’m working on and generally just blab, well sometimes. However first things first, say hello to my shiny new logo:

Stefan Morrison_LOGOThere’s plenty more to come over the next few days, weeks and months, in the mean time however view samples of my work, download my CV and please come back soon to see how it’s going. 🙂
